Well, I am indeed home again, or at least as close as I have to it, at the moment. At least it's not filled with conservative Mormons I'm related to who are winking and nudging me to convert and get married like my cousin did. *shudder*
On the other hand, I've discovered that when [...]

Apparently, shortly after birth, Baby Jesus' cradle was lit by a colored Christmas light the size of his body. I can see how everyone could tell that Baby Jesus was special – if I had a huge pink glowing thing sitting next to my cradle as a baby, I don't think I'd be smiling [...]

{Note: I want to have some sort of excuse for not updating recently, but the best I can come up with is “I've been trapped in Colorado with my Mormon cousins”, and that would imply that I'm willingly spending time with them. So that excuse doesn't really fly.}
{Addendum to Note: Okay, so [...]

Finals are over. Papers are written. Speeches are given. Material is studied. Tests are taken. Classes are over and done with…for this semester, anyway. Classes for next semester are registered. Firefly DVD's are bought. The only thing left on my to-do list from the past couple of [...]

Firefly DVD's came out today. I managed to get to Fred's about half an hour before they closed and snag a copy. Can't wait to take a look at the cast commentaries and such. They're so shiny. =)
Sheesh, I sound like a drooling fangirl.

Speech is done.
I literally could not write anything last night, so this entire speech was written and practiced between 8 AM – 12:00 PM this morning.
I expected to do about as well as I did on my previous two speeches (middle C).
I aced the bloody speech.
(Okay, so I haven't gotten grades back [...]

Wow. Four hours of sleep and residual caffiene in the system does a lot for your wakefulness. I don't think I've been up at 5 AM since…well, since my last set of finals.
While searching for statistics on the Web about abortions (my speech has undergone several topic transmutations, abortion is the latest incarnation), [...]

Grrr. Psychology term paper done, but I still have a speech to write and practice, an English paper to research and write, a portfolio to put together, a Psych final to study for, and a driver's license to (hopefully) get. No wonder I've started reading fanfic again.
Speech is what I need to work [...]
